TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If the Hiree is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Dewan Party Hire Ltd should immediately be consulted.

Golden rule: Children must be supervised at all times.

Please ensure following Safety Instructions:

• It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid physical injury or damage to the Inflatable.

• The front step of the bouncy castle is to be used for getting on or off, as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. Each castle will have ‘their bouncing area surrounded by side wall.

• No adults are to use this Bouncy Castle. (Childrens castles are usually 12 years). Climbing on side wall or roof, hanging, or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed at any time. It may also cause damage to the inflatable.

• Please ensure Children are not attempting somersaults or back flips and are clothed appropriately. (We recommend sock are used butut no shoes.
• During inflation or deflation, children should not be on the unit as this is DANGEROUS.
• Ensure that nobody with any illness or history of back, neck or other joint problems etc is allowed on the inflatable.
• Proper supervision of children to ensure children under school age use the equipment separately to older children or adults.
• We recommended no smoking or barbeques near the inflatable, as it can be dangerous.
• All equipment on hire or loan shall remain the property of Dewan Party hire or its suppliers.
• All equipment is used entirely at the Hirees’ / Users’ own risk, whether or not the equipment is staffed or self-run. Please note, if you find the equipment is not safe at any stage of operation, STOP using it, keep children away. Let one of our staff members know immediately, we will be there as soon as we can to resolve the issue or replace or collect back the unit if necessary.
• All units must be inspected by the hiree and sign. If any damage, please notify Dewan party hire immediately.
• No food or drink allowed on the unit.
• No Party Poppers, Colored streamers or Silly String should be taken, thrown or sprayed over the equipment.
• This may leave permanent stain and the hirer will be liable to compensate DEWAN PARTY HIRE LTD in the event of damage.
• Do not allow anyone onto the equipment wearing shoes, spectacles, carrying sharp objects, key-rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment.
• Any damage or loss must be reported immediately.
• Any excessive dirt, loss or damaged equipment will be charged at full replacement/repair cost.
• The Hirees’ representative has the authority to sign for delivered equipment and receive any safety/operating instructions.
• The hiree shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.

DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE THE UNIT!

Weather issue,

• The Hiree needs to ensure that the inflatable is not used in inclement weather conditions. In the event of winds over 20 – 24 mph,it is the responsibility of the hiree to switch off the inflatable and deflate in a safe manner.
• The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. Most of our inflatables are fitted with standard rain cover, however in the event of heavy rain nothing is waterproof and it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with towels. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.

Set up,

• The Hirer must Ensure that there is efficient space for us to park and access the location. We always prefer to use the side entrance, if possible, as this is the safest way to access the property, However we can also bring our bouncy castle / equipment through the customer house as per customer request. We can do so while the customer is present and at their own risk. Please note we will held no responsibility for any damage caused while transporting through the house.
• Please Ensure that we required an area of 6 feet (2 metres) free space around the unit for safe installation and operation (blower needs to fit at the back of the castles, to secure pegs/ sand bags as well as safety mats as needed)
• The position of any underground services, water pipes, gas pipes, electrical cables, sewer pipes, domestic oil pipes, etc, are clearly indicated to the delivery staff prior to installation of equipment. We may have to use pegs to secure unit into the ground, depending on surface types, for concrete surface we may use sand bags. Units should not be moved once securely installed on the ground. All equipment must be used in accordance with all relevant legislation, all operating instructions providedby Dewan Party hire and in a suitable safe environment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE Provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the above guidelines and conditions of hire, those using the inflatable should do so safely.

The Hire period:

• Summer: 11am – 6:30pm
• Winter: 10am – 5:30pm
• If you required different time, needs to be agreed at the time of the booking.

Safety:

Please note: Safety is our number 1 priority at all times. We reserve the right to refuse a hire for any reason if we feel health and safety law will be breached in any way. Our staff are fully trained in the safe use of inflatables and their say is final.

Cancellation:

Deposits are non-refundable but it can be transferred to your next booking up to 12 months.

If your booking is due to be outdoors and bad weather conditions occur on your hire day (heavy rain/high winds etc) you can cancel the order with 12 hours notice or if we may need to cancel your booking due to health and safety risks, if this occurs then your deposit can be transferred to another date within 12 months of your hire date.

INSURANCE:

DEWAN PARTY HIRE LTD excludes any liability for injury, loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract.

However, accidents can happen. DEWAN PARTY HIRE LTD can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of DEWAN PARTY HIRE LTD or its employees. As the equipment will be in the hiree,s possession and control whilst in use rather than DEWAN PARTY HIRE LTD.

Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that It is the hiree’s responsibility to ensure that their own independent public liability insurance cover is in place for persons while using the unit.
